Les suédois sont de retour et annoncent la couleur dans le titre de cette cinquième galette mais également à travers une pochette au concept, hum... percutant !
On se rend compte dès le premier titre d'une nette amélioration au niveau de la production avec un son très compact qui sert à merveille la musique qui est brutale à souhait. La recette de Carnal Forge est connue mais elle nous émoustille toujours les papilles. Une pincée de mélodie dans une fortification de rage représentée par une batterie martelante et infatigable, des guitares bétonnés aux riffs assez slayeriens ainsi qu'une voix des plus hargneuses tantôt hurlée et tantôt bien grasse.
J'en vois déjà qui salive aux vues de cette recette, certes alléchante, mais dont le goût ne nous est pas inconnu. Des relents de At The Gates, Testament, Slayer et même Pantera se feront sentir en fin de repas mais le tout sera aisément digéré.
En Bref, Carnal Forge nous sert un album assez digeste dont l'efficacité est le pricipal ingrédient... Vous trouverez cette bonne recette au rayon Thrash, bon appétit !
