En voilà un petit groupe d’Emo/Screamo Français dont on est fier ! Et ce n’est pas souvent il faut l’avouer... Il est difficile de trouver des infos sur ce groupe, donc je ne saurais pas vous dire comment ces gars se comportent en réalité, mais leur musique elle, je peux vous dire qu’elle n’a rien de ridicule ! On nous sert là une musique de très bonne facture, c’est indéniable. Les ingrédients Emo appartenant au Hardcore sont finement mêlés à la sauce Metal. Le chanteur arrive à canaliser tout ça de manière impressionnante, même au milieu de certains plans assez Thrash. Ni trop bruyant, ni trop calme, la musique de PARWEEN rentre dans nos oreilles sans aucun accrochage. De plus, et j’en reviens encore au chanteur, tous les textes sont en Français et ma foi assez bien écrits pour ce que j’en ai compris. C’est assez difficile d’écrire en Français sans passer pour un niais. Nombreux sont ceux qui choisissent la facilité avec l’anglais et sa prose faussement poétique… J’apprécie l’effort de la part de PARWEEN.
Par ailleurs, je suis bluffé par une telle qualité de production avec si peu de moyen… Le son est vraiment très bon. Je pense que les musicos ont vraiment du très bon matériel. Le son des guitares me rappelant celui des grands ISIS, mais avec des riffs de la veine de THE REFUSED, je vous assure que ça démonte l’arrière train de manière conséquente ! Le niveau technique n’est pas à discuter non plus, on sent que chaque musicien maîtrise son instrument sans problème. On notera également la très amusante chanson cachée à la fin du CD, une pure reprise heavy magnifiquement orchestrée qui démontre l’ouverture d’esprit et le sens de l’humour de PARWEEN. Grand Bravo en tout cas !
Au final, on regrettera seulement qu’il n’y ait pas un ou deux titres qui se démarquent vraiment des autres, pour marquer définitivement notre esprit de cette jolie petite galette éponyme. Ces gars-là, il faut les surveiller, car avec un peu plus d’originalité et d’excentricité, il pourrait bien faire de nombreux émules…
