Voici venu le temps du nouveau Lofofora avec un line-up renouvelé à 50%, Pierre (ex-Artsonic) à la batterie et Daniel (Noxious Enjoyment) à la guitare. Ces deux derniers apportent du sang neuf au groupe de Reuno et cela s'entend et se ressent tout au long de l'album. Rassurez-vous, l'ensemble reste toujours du Lofofora mais le côté agressif est beaucoup mieux maîtrisé, ce qui le rend plus pernicieux.
La démarche du groupe sur cet album est beaucoup plus intéressante que par le passé car moins linéaire mais plus diversifiée. Si le côté "brut" est toujours bien présent "Psaume Cac 40", "Social Killer", Lofo aménage des plages planantes "Histoires Naturelle", "Bienvenue" moments de répit pour l'auditeur sans pour autant casser la cohésion de l'ensemble. L'apport des nouveaux arrivant offre de nouvelles perspectives à Lofo, pour preuve la piste cachée reprenant le thème de "Bienvenue" dans un trip Stoner. L'évolution du groupe ne s'arrête pas là, loin s'en faut, en effet les textes de Reuno font preuve de plus d'optimisme que par le passé.
"Le Fond Et La Forme" est à ce jour la production de Lofofora la plus aboutie et la mieux maîtrisée. Un album à acquérir d'urgence...
