Ah voilà un bon groupe de Death au rythmes changeant et réussis.
Gurkkhas est maintenant reconnaissable notamment aux sons de la voix et de la guitare, bref un groupe qui a su créer sa propre identité au milieu d'une vague internationale déjà presque engorgée.
A noter tout de même la brillante présence à la production de Stéphane Buriez qui prouve une fois de plus sa connaissance du son Death Metal.
Oublié l'esprit technique de DAB ? Pas complètement, avec ce deuxième album, la technique entremêlée de brutalité déjà présente sur "Engraved in Blood Flesh & Souls" est plus forte et intense sur "A Life Of Suffering".
A ces guerriers du Death Metal en constante progression, je dis merci d'aussi bien représenter la France, ce qui prouve que la scène Française n'a rien à envier aux autres scènes mondiale. Album à se procurer d'urgence...
