L’ancien chanteur de CRIMSON GLORY revient avec un nouvel album solo qui aura l’avantage d’en décontenancer plus d’un. Fini de cavaler après QUEENSRYCHE, cette fois Midnight se lance dans un Rock psychédélique et barré qui n’a plus beaucoup de rapport avec le Metal. En cherchant bien, on peut trouver une certaine ressemblance dans l’attitude avec Alice Cooper, sur Welcome To My Nightmare, mais c’était il y a 20 ans et... c’était Alice Cooper !
Flûte, ballades, banjo, longs solos dissonants sur lesquels le chanteur plaque son timbre de voix si particulier, voilà ce que vous trouvez en écoutant Sakada.
A moins d’être sensible à l’univers loufoque de Midnight, il sera donc difficile d’adhérer à des compos nous entraînant à des années lumières de ce que l’on a l’habitude d’entendre.
