Tiens késako ça ?! "The Music Remains The Same", à la première lecture du titre je me suis dis, ça sens l'album tribute où alors je ne m'y connais pas mais en tout cas c'est bien imité. Je retourne le CD et là je m'aperçois du nom des groupes et de titres des morceaux. Ah! ben ça alors, un tribute à Led Zeppelin.. Je prends la rondelle, je la pose dans mon lecteur et c'est parti.
Angra avec "Kashmir" s'en sort honorablement, la chanson n'étant pas des plus faciles, "Dazed And Confused" par Blaze, dans un registre qui n'est pas le sien passe l'épreuve avec brio, idem pour Grave Digger et sa version de "No Quarter", l'excellent "Black Dog" par Masterplan avec dans ses rangs les ex-Helloween Uli Kusch et Roland Grapow mais aussi Jorn Lande (Ark) pour un version de toute beauté.
Comme tout tribute qui se respecte, il y a du bon est du moins bon, au rayon désastre, on retiendra surtout White Skull est sa version ratée de "Stairway To Heaven".
Cet énième tribute aurait mérité une prise de risque plus importante afin de proposer des versions un peu moins conforment aux originales. Cela dit ce disque reste néanmoins correct pour un tribute album et une acquisition valable. On a connu pire.
