Pour ses 10 ans, les Danois d'Exmortem s'offre une signature sur notre label tricolore Osmose Productions et nous expose son quatrième album studio "Pestilence Empire".
Exmortem nous administre son old Death Metal brutal et primitif à travers 9 titres tout en puissance et non moins intenses. Riffs vigoureux et inébranlables, rythmiques plombées, batterie percutante de bestialité, production féroce. Plus proche de certains groupe américain que nordique, Exmortem sait ce qu'il a à faire et il le fait de manière très convaincante.
Cet album ne bouleversera rien et de plus il manque cruellement de solos endiablés, en effet j'en ai dénombré aucun tout au long des 34 minutes de ce "Pestilence Empire"... Dommage, cela aurait permis de rajouter une couche supplémentaire de violence et surtout d'aérer le tout. Toutefois, il s'agit là d'un album bien fait de ce bon vieux Death Metal...
