Après une carrière ténébreuse, alternant le bon (Towards the Skullthrone of Satan) ou le pire (Armoured Bestial Hell) avec des albums incomparables (XES Haereticum), pilier de la scène Belge, ENTHRONED a fait, fait et fera toujours du Black Metal satanique à glacer le sang !
Le groupe se concentre sur le satanisme et le dénigrement absolu de toute religion et donc de ce qui engendre le sentiment de faiblesse. Cela tombe bien car Tetra Karcist le septième album du groupe est un rock ! ENTHRONED prouve qu’un groupe aussi fidèle à l’esprit d’origine peut évoluer sans se renier.
Ces antireligieux du plat pays (Christianisme, Islam… tout y passe !) ont mis à profit tout leur savoir-faire pour nous pondre une rondelle personnelle qui atteint un impressionnant niveau de maturité, de qualité et l'homogénéité. ENTHRONED sait que le combat se livre maintenant et est un éternel recommencement : cela s’entend dès les premières notes de l’angoissant « Ingressus Reggnum Spiritus ».
La montée en puissance de Tetra Karcist est flagrante. Ces 36 minutes d’assauts métalliques contre les religions sont d’une brutalité manifeste, mais toujours accompagnées de mélodies typiquement Black d’une rapidité parfois hallucinante (« Pray »). Le retour de Alsvid derrière les fûts n’y est pas étrangère et la montée en force des guitaristes est également un indice sur la forme de nos voisins.
ENTHRONED mets tout le monde à genou tant les compositions sont démoniaques, dotées d’une atmosphère sanguinaire mais qui n’empêche pas d’avoir son petit lot de mélodies et de solos bien inspiré (« Tellum Scorpionis »). Varié, changeant les atmosphères au grès du vent, glaçant les entrailles des plus naïf, ENTHRONED avec Tetra Karcist se permet même le luxe de pondre deux véritables hymnes avec les titres « Deviant Nerve Angelus » et surtout « Through The Cortex » où ENTHRONED a su intégré des éléments plus surprenants comme des chants claires aériens sur un morceau True Black qui finit par un duel de solos de guitare de toute beauté.
Avec Tetra Karcist la rage d’ENTHRONED s’en trouve décuplée.
