Pour gagner sa vie (Will Play For Food était un titre très bien trouvé !), George Lynch multiplie les projets et participe à bon nombre de tribute-albums. Ici, il lie les deux en sortant lui-même un album de reprises de vieilles chansons, piochant dans les répertoires Rock, Blues et Hard Rock.
Sans aucune barrière, Lynch nous balance au visage des solos stupéfiants, moins pour faire étalage de ses capacités que par envie de se lâcher un bon coup.
Le chant est assuré par Keely Keeling (BLUE MURDER, KING COBRA...) qui pourra s’enorgueillir de son travail, car il ne mérite que des louanges. Sa voix chaleureuse et typée convient parfaitement.
On devine le plaisir qu’il a pu éprouver en interprétant des morceaux qui lui tiennent à cœur et qui l’on probablement destiné à jouer du Metal, mais on aura du mal à partager complètement son enthousiasme. Car il reste de cette écoute (comme souvent dans les albums de reprises) une petite impression de réchauffé et surtout le sentiment qu’un album plus personnel aurait été meilleur.
