Après un premier album fade, le groupe emmené par Mikael Erlandson est de retour avec un line-up très différent qui ne nous fera pas regretter le précédent ! Ian Haugland, John Leven et Mic Michaeli étant repartis du coté de EUROPE, ils laissaient un trou béant rapidement comblé par l’arrivé de talentueux musiciens : Jamie Borger (TALISMAN) à la guitare, son comparse Marcel JACOB (le pote de Jeff Scott Soto) à la basse, et aux claviers Thomas Lassar qui œuvre dans CRYSTAL BLUE, un groupe aux qualités méconnues.
Le résultat est tout aussi mou que dans l’album précédent mais la qualité des compositions est supérieure. Le groupe s’attachant à nous faire entrer dans son atmosphère plutôt que de nous laisser à la porte (et en Suède, c’est connu, il fait froid). L’album s’écoute donc avec plaisir à condition d’être attaché au Rock mélodique, car le ton est résolument paisible. Certaines mélodies se retiennent très facilement.
Chose étrange, le résultat ne tend ni vers TALISMAN, ni vers CRYSTAL BLUE, ni même un mix des deux, par contre le jeu de guitare de Andy Malecek fait parfois penser aux gammes de Kee Marcello sur Out Of This World.
