Avez-vous vu le dessin animé « Le Magasin Des Suicides » de Patrice Leconte tiré du roman de Jean Teulé ? Cette histoire sarcastique d’une famille tenant une boutique offrant à sa clientèle une multitude d’accessoires pour mettre fin à ses jours ? Non et bien je ne vais pas m’étendre davantage sur ce mélo moqueur car ce n’est pas de ça dont il est question, mais d’un conte aussi improbable en revanche, avouez que l’idée au combien tordue est aguichante tout de même.
Imaginez-vous plutôt à l’entame de Darkside de CHRIST AGONY poussant la porte d’une agence, une agence de voyages foutrement barjots. Voyager, ici il va en être question et à la fin de ce périple, les globe-trotters téméraires vont déposer leur passeport pour un moment après cette grande virée éclair.
La charmante vendeuse, je précise au passage que cette dernière à défaut d’une forte poitrine aguicheuse ressemble fichtrement à Méduse de la mythologie, vous propose en guise de première étape « The Triangle (Prayer, Sonnet, Throne) » et même s’il n’est pas des Bermudes vous n’êtes pas assurés d’en revenir entier. D’ailleurs, avant même de prendre vos billets pour cette escapade, veillez à ne pas regarder dans les yeux la commerciale sous peine d’être pétrifié comme veut bien nous le conter la légende mythologique. Et puis franchement, ça serait dommage d’interrompre la croisière si rapidement.
Après cette halte au cœur d’un site fait de tourments le cap est mis sur l’arabisant « Heredity » aux effluves épicés. Ce titre chaud passera le relais à ce qu’on jurerait être un changement de bord radical, mais cette fois fidèle au voyagiste puisque Polonais. La langue y prend alors toute sa splendeur. Dans tout ça me direz-vous on cherche vainement le Black. Il est là pourtant, couvert abusivement par une rythmique excessive.
Là où le voyage devient vraiment déroutant, c’est à l’instant même où l’on prend conscience que c’est à bord d’un bateau Playmobile que nous voguons au gré des lames plastiques aux résonances Playskool et j’en passe : « My Spirit Seal ». Une surabondance de notes frisant le vieux jeu vidéo des années 80 qui aura toutefois l’ingénieuse idée de nous rappeler que cette fois c’est au Japon que nous nous sommes reposés un peu. Effectivement, comme pour varier les plaisirs (ou pas) l’étape développera des nappes orientales. C’est à s’y perdre.
On aura malgré tout droit à une veillée au coin du feu avec le GO du club nous jouant la sérénade (« Dark Goddess ») et il sera en droit de prétendre à la place de meilleur moment du séjour. Sans conteste, il met le doigt sur une mise en musique basique mais sans faute pour le coup, ni disgrâce.
Même s’il n’a rien de rebutant, cet itinéraire est un brin flippant. Il met en lumière l’hypothèse d’osciller entre tourista, mal de mer, insolation et phénomènes paranormaux. Sûre que les amoureux d’aventures (risquées) vont s’y retrouver car le programme est original. Malgré le fait qu’un tour opérateur installé dans le milieu depuis un certain temps se permette quelques fantaisies dans ses coffrets voyage, ne serait-il pas plus judicieux d’opter pour des valeurs sûres ? A chacun d’y méditer … moi, personnellement, je préfère retourner naviguer vers leur offre de 1998 : Trilogy qui succèdera avec brio à cette fantasque promotion.
