Les australiens nous reviennent plus intense que jamais avec cet album éponyme. En effet ce troisième album est sans doute le meilleur de tous, tant au niveau des compos, de la diverstité ainsi que de la production. Seule la pochette, qui est de mauvais goût, viens ternir quelque peu cette image positive...
Les thèmes principaux et lignes directrices du groupe sont, bien entendu, toujours les mêmes à savoir le sexe, le sang et la déconnade sous fond de Rock n'Roll survitaminé...
La recette est efficace et assez inhabituelle dans l'univers Grind car Blood Duster n'hésite pas à mélanger toute sorte d'influences musicales en gardant pour dominante le Rock et le Grind mais dans tout les cas ils ne font pas la course de vitesse chère à tant de groupes de ce style ! Non, pour eux le mot d'ordre est Groovy ! Il faut que ca swing, ce sont sans nul doute les Motörhead du Grind !
Ils n'ont donc peur de rien, ils passent alégrement d'un morceau bien Grind à un autre un peu plus Rock en passant même pas un morceau acoustique country (NuCorprate). Biensur, ils n'en oublient pas leurs petits sample de temps en temps en début de titres...
Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas Blood Duster, il est temps de s'y mettre... Et pour les autres, mettez ce disque en mode "repeat" sur votre platine...
