Troisième album pour nos voisins Belges et troisième tuerie. En effet, Aborted nous revient avec un carnage de plus, un album plein d'intensité, de rage, de furie et tout autre qualificatif de ce genre.
Goremageddon est une sorte de concept album, comme à l'accoutumé chez Aborted. Il s'agit toujours ici d'un bon Brutal Gore Death Metal mais celui-ci traitant, en gros dans ses textes du fanatisme religieux sous toutes ses formes.
Musicalement, cet album bénéficie d'un son énorme grâce à une production intraitable (Jakob Johanssen : Iniquity, Illdisposed, Hatebreed, Invocator, Raunchy...) mais aussi grâce à des musiciens fort inspirés et rigoureusement bons.
Tout est bon dans Aborted, ses vocaux endiablés, batterie infernale, guitares surpuissantes... D'ailleurs, les solos guitares sont diablement bien placés et aèrent l'ensemble de façon plus qu'efficace.
De plus, Aborted nous gratifie d'une version limitée de Goremageddon comprenant une reprise du légendaire CARCASS avec "Carnal Forge" ainsi qu'un visuel graphique additionnel.
Dans ce monde d'hémoglobine, je ne peux que vous conseiller de vous faire opérer par Aborted. Tans pis si ça saigne, faut que ça rentre !
