Après une intro instrumentale, comme sur son prédécesseur, on entre vite dans le vif du sujet avec le fulgurant "Godpuppet". Alternant les titres rapides "Urban Predator", "Godpuppet", "Shithead" à d'autres plus mid-tempo "Shadow World", Demon Eyes", The Haunted démontre un certain savoir faire. En effet, comment ne pas résister au break de "Everlasting" ou "D.A.O".
"One Kill Wonder" offre une musicalité différente par rapport à "The Haunted Made Me Do It" avec plus de solos, l'exploration de nouveaux horizons (l'instrumental "Demon Eyes") et un sens mélodique encore accru "Downward Spiral". Malgré l'influence de Slayer encore présente sur certains titres, l'ensemble sonne clair et précis grâce à la production, réalisé sous la houlette de Fredrik Nordström aux Fredman Studio.
Amateurs de Thrash Metal, n'hésitez pas à vous attarder sur ce disque, vous ne serez pas déçu.
