L’ex bloc de l’Est est depuis maintenant une bonne quinzaine d’année un pourvoyeur de briseurs de tympans en tout genre, et ce n’est pas cette nouvelle livraison de NEEDFUL THINGS qui contredira cet argument. Après le parcours obligatoire de tout groupe de grind qui se respecte, split cassette, split 7’’, split EP, split album, voici enfin le split kangourou (dépêchez vous de lire cette blague, il faut que je la rende à Jean ROUCAS), non, soyons sérieux.
Premier full lenght CD pour ces furieux qui n’ont pas oublié l’évangile selon St NAPALM, surtout le dernier chapitre, signé Long Live The Code. Rien de transcendant, juste du bon grind joué à fond la caisse, ultra violent, mais qui n’oublie pas que pour lacérer les esgourdes efficacement, il faut ménager l’éléphant. Ca évoque plus d’une fois le BRUTAL TRUTH de Danny, avec son alternance de furie et de lourdeur, c’est joué comme à la parade, et Mickey repart avec la queue en moins.
Le son est plus qu’honorable, et arrive même à créer une façade compacte derrière les hurlements de rigueur du chanteur.
Non, définitivement rien à reprocher à cette sortie, et même la pochette est superbe. La tradition, c’est comme le saucisson, ça a du bon !
