Internet, quelle belle invention ! Un moyen de faire circuler des informations… Et que dire de Myspace ou comment se faire de la pub gratuitement ? Et bien, voilà BELLADONNA qui a bien compris que cela fonctionnait à merveille !
BELLADONNA, c’est un groupe italien avec une chanteuse - pour changer - et qui évolue dans un style plus rock que Metal. Pour combler les fans curieux de Myspace.
BELLADONNA s’est dit « pourquoi ne pas sortir un cd ? ». En guise de première sortie, ces italiens ont fait fort, on a un véritable album intitulé Metaphysical Attraction à notre disposition au lieu d’une petite démo. Ils sont forts ces Italiens. Le but, faire de l’ombre à leur concurrent numéro 1, je nomme : LACUNA COIL ! De plus, ils ont quelques atouts, féminins bien sur, car la formation ne compte pas moins de quatre jolies demoiselles. Que voulez-vous de plus ?
Entrons dans le vif du sujet ; l’album. Les compos sont sympas ; calibrées radio, elles accrochent bien. Bon, la production n’est pas « tip-top » et le son des guitares est un peu trop aigu, mais ça passe très bien, surtout pour un premier album !
Par contre, au niveau du chant… Aie ! La vocaliste, Luana, copie sur sa rivale de LACUNA COIL, surtout au niveau de la fausseté ! Les premiers morceaux sont à la limite du supportable. Ce qui est dommage car sa voix respire la sensualité et notons que c’est elle qui écrit toutes les paroles, qui sont parfois très sexuelles, et elle sait les interpréter ! Dommage !
On pourra mentionner tout de même des bons morceaux, bien que je ne puisse pas dire des morceaux phares, comme « Mrs Hyde »ou « Mystical Elysian Love ».
BELLADONNA, c’est tout dans l’excès ! L’ambiance qui se dégage des morceaux est lourde et après écoute, on est à la limite de la dépression ! Malgré cela, le tout sonne très rock, bien que parfois, ils sont à la limite du Metal.
Alors, BELLADONNA a de quoi avoir une jolie carrière : des fans du monde entier, des femmes, du sexe et du Rock… Espérons qu’ils trouvent un Label et trouvent la route qui les mènera sur les hautes sphères du succès !
