J’aime bien ce qui est bourrin, j’y peux rien. Depuis la découverte de Pleasure To Kill de KREATOR et Acceleration Process de MORSÜRE dans les années 80, j’adore ce qui mouline sévère. Rien ne me fait peur. Ni la boucherie made in MORTICIAN, ni les évocations caverneuses d’ABRUPTUM, et encore moins les divagations nippones de GORE BEYOND NECROPSY. Je connais tout SWANS, SUFFOCATION et ANAL CUNT. Ca vous va ? On peut donc supposer que je suis le lascar parfait pour chroniquer le dernier DSK. Non vous ne rêvez pas. Dominique STRAUSS-KAHN ne s’est pas mis au death Metal (quoiqu’une campagne présidentielle sur fond de Blessed are The Sick, ça doit être fun !). On parle de l’autre DSK, le bon. Celui qui écume les scènes européennes depuis un bon moment. Celui qu’est pô content à longueur d’albums. Et force est de reconnaître que cette fois ci, ils sont vraiment en colère. Opressed/Diformed. Tu m’étonnes !
Alors, y’a quoi là dedans ? Ben déjà, mettez l’album dans le mange-disques, faites écouter à une bande de potes (de préférence encore un peu sobres, après je garantis plus rien !), et demandez leur, d’un air naïf, "D’après vous, ils viennent de quel pays ?", et je vous parie l’intégrale de Gérard PALLAPRAT que personne ne répondra "Ben y sont Français !". Sur, c’est dur à avaler. Parce que dans ce style là, ils ne craignent personne !
Ben oui, c’est bon, très bon même !! Et pourtant, des bourrineries j’en ai avalé ! Le son tue carrément, la batterie n’est pas triggée pour une fois, et le chanteur (lui, il n’a jamais chanté dans une chorale, c’est sûr !) grogne comme un vieux grizzli à qui on a piqué le dernier saumon. Ca s’écoute comme on jette des cailloux à Paris Hilton, on ne voit pas le temps passer, et on n’a pas envie que ça s’arrête ! Allez, des titres, c’est gratos. « Models Of Premature Souls », avec ses mosh-parts et son feeling NAPALM DEATH, punk roublard. « Ex Nihilo », complètement grind, défouloir absurde d’une journée mal entamée. « Walls Of Pain », son intro qui dégage, le phrasé style "J’arrive pas à avaler ma mousseline", et sa construction aérée (tout est relatif quand même !). « Socialize, Normalize, Integrate » pour finir l’album sur une touche bien core, et le mélange des voix écorché/gromph qui va bien.
Mais le pire, me direz vous, c’est que tout ça reste entraînant ! Un peu comme si le DJ des BAINS à Paris avait pété un plomb et mixé David GUETTA avec CANNIBAL CORPSE ! Ca donne la pêche, et surtout une irrésistible envie de se secouer les puces en faisant l’hélicoptère comme quand on avait 15 ans. Alors pour aligner deux ou trois mots sérieux, cet album est une vraie révélation pour moi, et je vous avoue que la prochaine fois qu’ils passeront dans le coin, je serai au premier rang. Promis. Si vous voyez un type à l’envers avec des baskets pourries, ce sera moi. Putain, j’aime ce qui est bourrin…
