Groupe récent puisque créé en 2003, SAONI MA a l’occasion de faire parler de lui avec ce Maxi CD de quatre titres. Compositions complexes et rythmiques syncopées, voilà ce que vous trouverez sur cette rondelle de Metal déstructuré. On retrouve également l’apport d’ambiances électro, notamment sur les titres « Machines Infernales » et sur le titre éponyme « Nocif ».
Groupe aux influences diverses et variées, SAONI MA expulse sa fougue et son courroux au travers de ces quatre morceaux bien produits. Disposant en plus d’un gros son, on remarquera notamment des lignes de basse audibles et claquantes.
Ce qui est vrai, c’est qu’ils en ont gros sur la patate, cela se ressent aux travers de leurs textes qui pointent du doigt quelques travers de notre société, telles que la xénophobie, l’environnement, le clonage, etc. Mais là où ils échouent, c’est que le chanteur possède une voix qui frise le ridicule, avec cette alternance de parties bramées vrillant les tympans et les lignes vocales traditionnelles chantées, déjà plus abordables.
Heureusement qu’il n’y a que quatre titres, car cela devient vite lassant avec ce changement perpétuel de rythmiques partant dans vingt directions à la fois.
Ne manquant pourtant pas de créativité, les morceaux s’évaporent vite ! Et, au final, il n’en reste pas grand-chose!
